Cavo di rete Alcasa 8080-075Y giallo 7,5 m Cat8.1 S/FTP

The Alcasa 8080-075Y Yellow 7.5m Cat8.1 S/FTP is a high-performance networking cable designed for short- to medium-range installations that require very high data throughput. Built to the Cat8.1 specification with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors with gold plating, this 7.5 m cable supports data transfer rates up to 40,000 Mbit/s and is suited for environments where signal integrity and reduced interference are important. The bright yellow jacket provides clear visual identification in patch panels and cable runs.

Advantages

The cable combines Cat8.1 performance with S/FTP shielding to minimize crosstalk and external electromagnetic interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors improve contact reliability and reduce oxidation risk. At 7.5 m length the cable is long enough for many rack-to-desk or equipment-to-switch connections while remaining manageable in cable routing. The yellow color aids quick identification and organized cabling layouts.

Suitable for

• High-speed connections between servers, switches, and patch panels in data centers
• Professional networking setups requiring shielded cables to reduce interference
• Short to medium cable runs in office, studio, or lab environments

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat8.1
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield plus individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Maximum data transfer rate: up to 40,000 Mbit/s
• Length: 7.5 m
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Connect each RJ-45 connector to the corresponding Ethernet ports on your network devices such as switches, routers, servers or network interface cards. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid tight bends and excessive tension; maintain separation from large power sources or unshielded electrical cables where possible to preserve shielding effectiveness. For rack installations, use appropriate cable management accessories to prevent strain on the connectors.

Recommendations

Use the Alcasa 8080-075Y for short to medium links that require Cat8.1 performance and shielded cabling. Avoid running the cable alongside unshielded high-voltage power lines and do not exceed recommended bend radius or expose the cable to mechanical strain to maintain optimal signal quality.
