Cavo di rete Alcasa 8080-150G verde 15 m Cat8.1 S/FTP

The Alcasa 8080-150G Green 15m Cat8.1 S/FTP networking cable is a shielded high-speed Ethernet cable designed for demanding wired networks. Compliant with the Cat8.1 standard, the cable provides a physical RJ-45 to RJ-45 connection over a 15 meter length and is fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors to improve contact reliability and reduce corrosion. The S/FTP shielding structure helps minimise electromagnetic interference, supporting stable data transmission up to 40000 Mbit/s for applications that require high throughput and low latency.

Advantages

The Alcasa 8080-150G combines Cat8.1 specification performance with S/FTP shielding to deliver improved signal integrity in environments with potential interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors offer better conductivity and longer contact life compared with standard plated connectors. The 15 m length balances reach and signal quality for medium-distance runs, and the distinctive green jacket makes cable identification easier in multi-cable installations.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired LAN connections between switches, routers and servers
• Data centre patching and short backbone runs
• Home or office networks requiring high bandwidth for large file transfers and low-latency applications
• Environments with potential electromagnetic interference where S/FTP shielding is beneficial

Key specifications

• Standard: Cat8.1
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall braid with individually foiled pairs)
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Length: 15 m
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Green

How to use

Connect one gold-plated RJ-45 connector to the network interface on your device and the other to the corresponding port on a switch, router or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully seated until the retention clip clicks to secure the connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends and sources of strong electrical noise; maintain the 15 m run within recommended horizontal or patch cabling practices. For permanent installations, verify that connectors and ports are compatible with Cat8.1 performance characteristics.

Recommendations

Use the Alcasa 8080-150G in links where high bandwidth and shielding are required. Avoid tightly coiling the cable and keep separation from high-voltage cables when possible. For maximum performance, pair the cable with network equipment rated for high-speed Ethernet and ensure terminations are undamaged and clean.
