Cavo di rete Alcasa 8080-150Y giallo 15 m Cat8.1 S/FTP

The Networking Cable Alcasa 8080-150Y Yellow 15m Cat8.1 S/FTP is a 15 metre Ethernet patch cable built to support high-speed data transfer up to 40000 Mbit/s. It conforms to the Cat8.1 standard and uses S/FTP shielding to reduce electromagnetic interference and crosstalk. Both ends are fitted with gold-plated RJ-45 connectors for consistent contact and corrosion resistance. The cable's yellow jacket provides clear visual identification in rack and home network environments.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding combines an overall foil shield with individually shielded pairs to improve noise rejection in electrically noisy environments. The Cat8.1 rating allows for high bandwidth and low latency suitable for modern networking demands. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure a reliable physical and electrical connection while resisting oxidation. The 15 m length offers flexibility for connecting equipment across larger rooms or between racks without additional couplers.

Suitable for

• High-bandwidth local area networks (LAN) and data centres
• Home offices and professional workstations requiring stable wired connections
• Patch panels and rack-to-rack connections within telecom cabinets
• Environments where cable identification by colour is helpful

Key specifications

• Length: 15 m
• Category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil with individually shielded pairs)
• Maximum data rate: 40000 Mbit/s
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Yellow

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 plug to the network port of your switch, router, modem or network interface card and the other plug to the target device or patch panel. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to secure a stable connection. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, pinching or sources of strong electromagnetic interference. For best performance, maintain appropriate bend radius and avoid running the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines where possible.

Recommendations

Use the cable in installations that require high throughput and low latency. Regularly inspect connectors for debris and ensure strain relief at connection points to extend service life. Store unused lengths coiled without tight loops and avoid excessive twisting.
