Cavo di rete Alcasa 8080-200R rosso 20 m Cat8.1 S/FTP

The Alcasa 8080-200R Red 20m Cat8.1 S/FTP networking cable is a high-performance Ethernet cable designed for demanding LAN, server room and home network environments. Compliant with Cat8.1 specification and featuring S/FTP (shielded foiled twisted pair) construction, this 20 m cable supports data transfer rates up to 40000 Mbit/s and is fitted with RJ-45 connectors with gold plating for stable signal transmission and reduced contact corrosion. The cable's red jacket provides clear visual identification in patch panels and structured cabling runs.

Advantages

S/FTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference and crosstalk, improving signal integrity in environments with multiple cables or nearby electrical equipment. The Cat8.1 standard supports very high bandwidths suitable for 25G/40G applications over short distances. Gold-plated RJ-45 connectors ensure a reliable, low-resistance connection and long-term contact durability. The 20 m length offers flexibility for medium to large installations without the need for additional couplers.

Suitable for

• High-speed local area networks in offices and data centers
• Connections between switches, routers and servers
• Home networks requiring future-proof bandwidth for streaming and gaming
• Structured cabling where clear cable identification is needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat8.1
• Shielding: S/FTP (screened foiled twisted pair)
• Length: 20 m
• Maximum data rate: up to 40000 Mbit/s
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45 with gold-plated contacts
• Colour: Red

How to use

Connect one end of the Alcasa 8080-200R cable to the RJ-45 port of your network device (switch, router, server or PC) and the other end to the corresponding port on the target device. Ensure connectors are fully inserted until the latch clicks to establish a secure mechanical and electrical connection. Route the cable avoiding sharp bends and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain optimal performance. For installations in rack environments, use cable management accessories to prevent strain on connectors.

Recommendations

For best performance, use this Cat8.1 S/FTP cable for short to medium patch runs where high bandwidth is required. Avoid running parallel to power lines and keep bending radius within manufacturer guidelines. When connecting equipment supporting 25G or 40G, verify the device ports and link settings to ensure proper negotiation of speeds.
