Gruppo di continuità FSP CHAMP 3K 3000 VA 2700 W, Rack 2U, uscite IEC

FSP CHAMP 3K is a 2U rack-mount uninterruptible power supply that delivers 3000 VA (2700 W) output capacity through IEC outlets. It provides short-term battery backup and primary surge and voltage disturbance protection for servers, networking devices and telecommunications equipment. The unit is designed for installation in small racks and data closets where compact, high-capacity emergency power and basic line conditioning are required to maintain operations during brief outages and to stabilize input voltage.

Advantages

The rack 2U form factor combines space-efficient mounting with a 3000 VA/2700 W rating, enabling support of multiple IEC-connected devices without occupying a full rack unit. Integrated battery backup allows controlled shutdown or continued operation of critical loads for short periods. Built-in surge and voltage disturbance protection reduce the risk of damage from transient events and unstable mains, while the IEC outlets simplify connection to standard IT and telecom equipment.

Suitable for

• Server appliances in small racks and data closets
• Network switches, routers and firewalls
• Telecom and VoIP equipment
• Storage controllers and NAS devices with IEC power cords
• Edge computing nodes and small virtualization hosts

Key specifications

• Rated capacity: 3000 VA / 2700 W
• Form factor: 2U rack-mount
• Output interfaces: IEC outlets
• Protection features: battery backup, surge and voltage disturbance protection
• Primary use: short-term emergency power and line stabilisation

How to use

Mount the UPS in a compatible 19-inch rack using the included rack ears or rails, ensuring adequate ventilation and permissible ambient temperature. Connect critical equipment to the IEC output sockets only; do not exceed the rated combined load of 2700 W. Before placing into service, charge the internal battery per the manufacturer's initial charge instructions and configure orderly shutdown or monitoring software if available. Test the battery backup operation periodically by initiating a controlled power interruption to confirm connected devices remain powered or shut down gracefully.

Recommendations

Locate the unit in a clean, dry environment with unrestricted airflow. Balance connected loads across outputs where applicable, avoid overloading beyond 2700 W, and perform regular battery health checks and replacements per the manufacturer's guidance to ensure reliable backup performance.
