Gustav Klauke 107R8 capocorda a compressione in rame stagnato elettroliticamente 70 mm²

Terminating 70 mm² copper cables can be a challenge: the connection must handle high current without overheating, resist corrosion, and stay mechanically secure for years. The Gustav Klauke 107R8 press cable lug solves this with a precision-machined electrolytic copper body and an electro-tinned finish that prevents oxidation and keeps contact resistance low over time. The inspection hole lets you verify correct crimp position instantly, so you can work with confidence in critical power installations.

Who is it for

Electricians and panel builders who need to attach ring lugs to M8 studs in control cabinets, switchgear, busbars, machine wiring, and power distribution units. Its compatibility with stranded and fine-stranded conductors makes it a versatile choice for both flexible and rigid cables in real-world wiring.

Main features

• High-conductivity electrolytic copper (E-Cu) for continuous high-current flow
• Electro-tinned surface protects against galvanic corrosion and reduces contact resistance drift
• Precision-drilled 8.4 mm hole fits M8 bolts and screws
• Inspection hole allows spot-checks of insertion depth and crimp quality
• Manufactured to DIN 46235 dimensions for interchangeability
• Compatible with standard hexagonal crimping dies (6-10 tons) for gas-tight crimps

Tips

Use the correct hexagonal crimping die for 70 mm² conductors and a crimping force of 6-10 tons. Always slide the lug fully onto the stripped conductor until it reaches the inspection hole, then crimp. For best corrosion protection in harsh environments, consider using heat-shrink tubing over the crimp area. Verify that the bolt hole aligns properly with the M8 stud before tightening.
