TOUCH-THROUGH GLASS

We are pleased to share the latest product update to our HO Series – Open Frame PCAP touch displays: support for “touch-through glass” capability.

Touch-through glass enables touch interactivity directly through an additional glass cover (no air gap and glass up to 6mm thick). Ideal for new emerging applications, including interactive display storefront windows, real estate office displays and in-store and restaurant POS and essential when applications demand environmentally sealed & secured enclosures.

The touch-through glass capability is implemented by a firmware upgrade, no hardware alterations are involved. For more details contact your local HSP office / representative or send us a request via the product inquiry form.

This new feature applies to the following models: HO101HTB, HO161HTB, HO165PTB, HO225DTB, HO225HTB, HO320HTB, HO430HTB.

PROJECTED CAPACITIVE (PCAP) TOUCH TECHNOLOGY

Now multiple users can experience shared touchscreen interaction. Using up to 10 finger touch points, the HANNSpree HO165PTB Monitor allows everyone to play and collaborate at the same time.

The precise and accurate multi-touch display — allowing up to 10 simultaneous touches — allowing you to work smarter and more efficiently.

There’s no need for additional controllers – all they have to do is just reach out and touch the screen. It is certified for Windows 10 and designed to offer superior performance as well as intuitive control, so you can be more productive and do everything you want to do smoothly and quickly.

With Projected Capacitive Touch, users can enjoy a smoother and more accurate touch display experience with increased interactivity. Thanks to the glass overlay this technology is highly durable, the Touch performance is unaffected by everyday use and mishaps such as dirt, dust, condensation, liquid spills or cleaning solutions.

SCRATCH RESISTANT – MULTI-TOUCH SCREEN WITH 6H SURFACE HARDNESS

6H scratch resistant surface hardness ensures durability, as well as a consistent high quality touch experience.

Scratch resistance is essential for touch solutions used for education and public environment. This is achieved thanks to a glass overlay covering the screen. This means that the panel surface can withstand impact from objects and scratches, making it perfect for public spaces and educational institutions.

Our toughened Hard Glass fronted LED Monitors (6H hardness rating) are designed specifically for retail and Industrial applications offering protection from impacts and dirt for a long life solution.

It guarantees high durability of the touch function and even more importantly the touch function remains unaffected even if the glass is scratched.

CONNECTIVITY

The HANNspree HO165PTB features a host of connectivity options that include VGA, HDMI and DP.

The HO165PTB Open Frame Touch Monitor ensure that your monitor is more compatible and ready to handle all of your content.

Enabling touch is easy! Simply connect the USB cable from your PC to the monitor’s USB upstream port, and connect one of the video inputs to project images onscreen.

How to use

Connect a video source to one of the video inputs (VGA, HDMI or DisplayPort) and plug the monitor's USB upstream cable into your PC or media player to enable touch functionality. For installations requiring a sealed enclosure or additional protection, request the touch-through-glass firmware upgrade and fit the external cover glass (up to 6 mm) as specified by HANNspree. Use the available rear VESA or external brackets to mount the display in kiosks, totems or tabletop housings according to your installation requirements.
