How to use

On first use, create a secure PIN following the on-screen prompts shown by the device; the drive handles encryption and authentication in hardware so no separate encryption software is required. Enter the PIN to unlock the drive and use it like a standard external HDD for copying, opening or backing up files. When finished, safely eject the drive and power it down so data remains protected.

Recommendations

Choose a strong PIN that you can remember but that is not easily guessable; keep a secure offsite backup of critical data and ensure your operating system’s USB drivers are up to date to achieve optimal transfer speeds.
