Hellermann Tyton 712-00500 nastro isolante elettrico in PVC, nero, 15 mm x 10 m

For reliable electrical insulation in professional and DIY applications, the Hellermann Tyton 712-00500 tape delivers a self-extinguishing PVC construction that withstands temperatures from -10 °C to +90 °C. Its 15 mm width and 10 m length make it a practical choice for bundling, marking, and protecting wiring in control cabinets, automotive harnesses, and general electrical work.

Highlights

• Self-extinguishing PVC material for enhanced fire safety
• Dielectric strength of 8 kV/mm supports primary insulation up to 600 V
• Strong adhesion to steel and backing (1.8 N/10mm) for secure wrapping
• Moderate UV resistance for indoor and limited outdoor use

In daily use

The tape’s 0.15 mm thickness and 180 % elongation at break allow it to conform tightly around irregular shapes without tearing. It applies cleanly by hand and removes without excessive residue, making it suitable for temporary marking or permanent insulation in dry environments.
