POLY Cavo da 2,5 mm a QD dorato, 0,45 m, costruzione robusta

The POLY 2.5mm to QD Gold Cable (0.45M) is an audio connection cable designed for reliable headset connectivity with compatible QD (Quick Disconnect) base units and devices. At 0.45 meters length it provides a compact, straightforward connection path for desk-based and mobile communications setups. The cable uses gold-plated 2.5mm and QD connectors and a robust outer jacket to maintain consistent signal transfer and reduce contact corrosion over time.

Advantages

This cable combines gold-plated contacts for improved conductivity with a durable construction that withstands repeated plugging and unplugging. The 0.45m length balances reach and cable management, making it suitable for close-proximity use without excess slack. Its compatibility with QD headset systems offers fast, tool-free disconnection while preserving audio integrity for voice and multimedia signals.

Suitable for

• Connecting POLY-compatible headsets to QD-enabled bases or adapters
• Office and call centre desk setups where short cable runs are preferred
• Hot-desking and shared equipment environments requiring quick disconnect
• Portable communication setups where a compact cable length is needed

Key specifications

• Connector types: 2.5mm audio plug to Quick Disconnect (QD) plug
• Contact plating: gold-plated connectors for improved signal transfer and corrosion resistance
• Length: 0.45 meters (approx. 45 cm)
• Construction: reinforced jacket designed for repeated flexing and connection cycles
• Audio compatibility: supports voice and standard stereo/monaural headset signals where QD interface is used

How to use

Insert the 2.5mm plug into the headset jack and connect the QD plug to the matching QD socket on the base unit or adapter until it clicks into place. When required, press the QD release mechanism to disconnect quickly without twisting the cable. Avoid forcing connectors into incompatible sockets and route the cable to prevent sharp bends or pinch points. For optimal audio quality, ensure connectors are clean and fully seated before use.

Recommendations

Store the cable coiled loosely when not in use to prevent kinks. Periodically inspect the gold-plated contacts and outer jacket for wear; clean contacts with a dry, lint-free cloth if oxidation or debris are present. Use the cable within its intended 0.45m reach and avoid exposing it to excessive heat, moisture, or mechanical strain to extend service life.
