Hub USB LOGILINK UA0138 — hub USB 2.0 4 porte, verde, fino a 480 Mbit/s

The LOGILINK UA0138 is a compact 4-port USB 2.0 hub in green that expands a single computer USB port into four usable ports. Designed for basic peripheral connectivity, it supports USB 2.0 full-speed and high-speed transfers up to 480 Mbit/s and is compatible with a range of legacy Windows systems. The hub is lightweight and portable, offering a simple way to connect keyboards, mice, flash drives, printers and other USB peripherals without the need for additional drivers on many operating systems.

Advantages

The device provides four downstream USB ports in a small footprint, enabling multiple peripherals to be used from one host connection. Its USB 2.0 bandwidth supports faster data exchange than USB 1.1 devices, while plug-and-play operation simplifies setup on most systems. The compact green housing and low weight make it convenient for travel or confined workspaces. The hub’s compatibility with older Windows editions ensures use with legacy hardware and software environments.

Suitable for

• Connecting keyboards and mice to laptops and desktops
• Attaching USB flash drives for data transfer and backup
• Adding extra ports for printers, scanners and other peripherals
• Use in home, office or mobile setups where additional USB ports are needed

Key specifications

• Number of downstream ports: 4
• USB standard: USB 2.0 (supports up to 480 Mbit/s)
• Colour: green
• Form factor: compact, bus-powered hub (no external power supply required for typical low-power devices)
• Weight: approximately 450 g
• Compatibility: compatible with a range of legacy Windows systems and standard USB hosts

How to use

Connect the hub’s upstream USB connector to an available USB port on your computer. Once connected, the operating system will normally detect the hub and attached devices; no separate drivers are typically required for basic HID devices and mass storage on modern systems. Plug keyboards, mice, flash drives or other peripherals into the hub’s downstream ports. If multiple high-power devices are used simultaneously, consider connecting them one at a time to ensure stable operation, since the hub is bus-powered and shares the host port’s available power.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, connect high-bandwidth devices such as external hard drives to ports on the computer or a powered USB hub. Use the LOGILINK 4-port hub for low- to moderate-power peripherals like keyboards, mice, flash drives and printers. Avoid relying on the hub to power several high-current devices simultaneously without an external power source.
