How to use

Power the MR160 using its internal battery and switch on the unit. Use the thermal image to scan the target area: the IGM thermal view highlights temperature differences and guides you to likely moisture locations using the laser pointer and display cross-hairs. For a quick non‑intrusive check, perform a pinless scan over the surface; view real‑time relative moisture readings on the screen. To confirm moisture level, attach and use the supplied FLIR MR02 external pin probe in contact mode to obtain WME measurements and select the appropriate material group. Save images and readings to internal memory for review and export with FLIR Tools.
