IK MULTIMEDIA iLoud Precision MTM MKII – nero

In a market crowded with conventional two-way nearfields, the iLoud Precision MTM MKII stands apart with its symmetrical midrange-tweeter-midrange driver array. This configuration locks the acoustic center, drastically reducing vertical reflections from your desk or console and delivering a soundstage that stays stable even when you move off-axis. Add to that a fully integrated ARC room correction system and a DSP engine running at 192 kHz, and you have a monitor that adapts to your room rather than forcing your room to adapt to it.

Highlights

• MTM design with dual 5" woofers and a 1.5" tweeter for pinpoint imaging
• 200 W total Class-D amplification (100 W LF + 100 W HF)
• Frequency response from 36 Hz to 30 kHz (-3 dB) with max SPL of 110 dB
• Built-in ARC room correction with included measurement microphone
• XLR and 1/4" TRS balanced inputs plus USB for firmware and calibration
• Bass-reflex enclosure with threaded insert for mic stand mounting

In daily use

Place the MTM MKII on your meter bridge or a pair of monitor stands, run the ARC calibration once, and you'll immediately notice tighter low end and a more focused phantom center. The midrange clarity is exceptional for vocal and guitar work, while the high frequencies remain smooth and detailed without harshness. Because the drivers are vertically symmetrical, the sweet spot is wider than typical monitors, making it easier to evaluate mixes from a slightly reclined position or when collaborating with a client beside you. The internal power supply handles 100-240V AC, so you can use it anywhere without external bricks.
