The InLine® Gigabit network card PoE+offers a powerful and versatile solution for professional use in servers, workstations and AV applications. With an RJ45 Gigabit interface, it enables a reliable 10/100/1000 Mb/s Ethernet connectionand supports modern network technologies for optimized performance and energy efficiency.
Thanks to PoE+ (IEEE 802.3af/at) with up to 30 W, it is ideal for IP cameras, access points and VoIP telephones, which can be supplied with power directly via the network cable - without a separate power source.
Additional features such as VLAN support (802.1Q), Jumbo Frames up to 9K, Flow Control (802.3x)and Virtual Machine Device Queues (VMDq)ensure optimized network performance and efficient use of system resources.

How to use

Install the card into an available PCIe x1 slot (or compatible slot) on the host motherboard and secure with the supplied bracket (standard or low‑profile). Connect a Cat5e or higher Ethernet cable to the RJ45 port for Gigabit operation and, if using PoE, ensure the connected device supports PoE and the cable meets the required category and length limits (up to 100 m). Install drivers from the included CD or the vendor website and verify network and PoE settings in the operating system or management console.

Recommendations

For stable Gigabit and PoE+ operation use Cat5e (or better) cables and keep cable runs under 100 m. Verify device PoE requirements before connection and ensure the host system provides adequate cooling within the specified operating temperature range.
