InLine cavo di prolunga seriale DB37 maschio/femmina stampato diretto grigio 1m

The InLine serial extension cable DB37 male to female, 1 m, provides a straightforward way to extend the physical reach of serial equipment that uses a 37-pin D-sub connection. Constructed for everyday connectivity, the grey cable keeps signal paths intact while allowing devices to be repositioned without changing original cabling. The product is intended for use where an extra metre of reach is needed between compatible serial interfaces.

Advantages

The DB37 male-to-female extension delivers a reliable mechanical and electrical connection compatible with standard 37-pin D-sub serial interfaces. Its 1 m length offers a practical balance between flexibility and minimal signal loss for short-distance extension. The neutral grey jacket supports tidy cable management and integration into mixed-equipment environments. The fixed connectors simplify installation and reduce the need to rewire existing setups.

Suitable for

• Extending serial connections between computers, controllers and peripheral equipment
• Temporary setups where devices need to be moved without re-terminating cables
• Industrial control panels and test benches using DB37 interfaces
• Repair or replacement of a short or damaged segment in a DB37 cable run

Key specifications

• Connector type: DB37 male to DB37 female
• Cable length: 1 m
• Jacket colour: grey
• Cable use: serial signal extension for 37-pin D-sub interfaces
• Connector gender: one male, one female

How to use

Align the DB37 male connector with the mating DB37 female socket on the target device and insert carefully, ensuring pins line up without force. Secure the connection using the connector's fastening screws if present to maintain mechanical stability. Connect the female end to the outgoing DB37 cable or device. Verify that both devices are powered off during insertion where recommended by the equipment manufacturer, and perform a communication test after connection to confirm signal integrity.

Recommendations

Avoid routing the cable parallel to high-voltage power lines or heavy-duty motor wiring to minimize potential interference. For long-term or critical installations consider using shielded cabling and proper strain relief at connector points. Inspect connectors periodically for bent pins or loose screws and replace the cable if physical damage is observed.
