InLine cavo di prolunga seriale, stampato, DB37 maschio / femmina, diretto, grigio, 5 m

The InLine serial extension cable DB37 male to female in grey, 5 m, provides a straightforward way to extend serial connections between devices that use a 37-pin D-sub interface. The cable allows greater equipment placement flexibility in industrial, lab and office environments while maintaining the physical compatibility of DB-37 connectors. Its 5 meter length supports longer reach without adding adapters or intermediate couplings.

Advantages

This DB37 extension cable features matched male and female D-sub connectors for direct extension of existing DB-37 serial cables or device ports. The 5 m length reduces the need to relocate devices and helps keep cable runs neat. The neutral beige/grey colour integrates unobtrusively into most racks and workspaces. The simple construction is intended for reliable signal pass-through where DB-37 pinouts are required.

Suitable for

• Extending DB-37 serial connections between industrial controllers and peripheral equipment
• Connecting consoles, measurement instruments or lab devices that use DB-37 interfaces
• Creating longer cable runs in offices, server rooms or test benches

Key specifications

• Cable length: 5 m
• Connector 1: DB-37 (male)
• Connector 2: DB-37 (female)
• Product colour: Beige / grey
• Connector type: 37-pin D-sub

How to use

Align the DB-37 male and female connectors and secure the thumbscrews or fastening hardware if present to ensure a stable mechanical and electrical connection. Use the cable to bridge between two DB-37 ports or to extend an existing DB-37 cable; verify the pinout compatibility of connected devices before powering systems. Route the cable to avoid sharp bends, high-traffic areas and sources of strong electromagnetic interference to maintain signal integrity.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, confirm that device pinouts and signal standards match the DB-37 interface used. Avoid excessive bending or tension on the cable and keep connections dry and free from corrosive substances. If used in environments with significant electrical noise, consider additional cable routing or shielding measures at the installation site.
