How to use

Power down the system before connecting or disconnecting internal SAS cables. Insert the SFF-8654 male connector into the corresponding port on the HBA or RAID controller and the Mini SAS HD SFF-8643 connector into the storage device or enclosure port, ensuring correct orientation and secure seating. After connections are made, power on the system and verify that the controller recognises the attached devices.

Recommendations

For best performance, use in short internal server or rack-mounted runs and avoid sharp bends or excessive cable compression. Verify controller firmware and cable compatibility with your server and storage hardware to ensure full 24 Gb/s operation.
