Inserto a bussola KS Tools 911.1332 attacco 1/2 pollice metrico diametro 2,2 cm

The KS Tools 1/2" drive metric bit socket (diameter 2.2 cm, length 110 mm) is a long hexagon bit socket designed for use with 1/2" drive ratchets and torque tools. Manufactured in Germany, this tool provides a precise fit for metric fasteners and is intended for professional and hobbyist work where access to recessed or hard-to-reach hex fasteners is required. The socket's dimensions and weight make it suitable for controlled torque application and stable handling during assembly and disassembly tasks.

Advantages

The long hexagon bit socket offers increased reach compared with standard-length sockets, allowing access to recessed bolts and nuts. Its 1/2" drive interface ensures compatibility with common ratchets and extension bars, while metric sizing provides a snug fit on metric fasteners to reduce rounding. The manufactured-in-Germany origin indicates consistent material and machining quality, contributing to durability and reliable performance under regular use.

Suitable for

• Accessing recessed or deep-set hexagonal fasteners in automotive and industrial assemblies
• Work requiring a 1/2" drive interface such as repair, maintenance, and mechanical servicing
• Tasks where a long bit socket is needed to reach through components or past obstacles

Key specifications

• Drive size: 1/2" (compatible with 1/2" ratchets and extensions)
• Bit type: hexagon (hex) long bit socket
• Diameter: 2.2 cm
• Overall length: 110 mm
• Weight: 140 g
• Units: metric sizing for hex fasteners
• Manufacturing origin: Germany

How to use

Select the correctly sized metric hex socket for the fastener to ensure a secure engagement. Fit the socket onto a compatible 1/2" drive ratchet, torque wrench, or extension, then position the long bit onto the hex fastener. Apply controlled torque, starting with light force to seat the tool, then increase to the required torque value for the task. For removal, turn in the opposite direction while maintaining axial alignment to avoid cam-out or rounding of the fastener.

Recommendations

Use with appropriate safety equipment and observe the torque limits of the ratchet or torque wrench. Inspect the socket for wear or damage before use, avoid excessive side loads on the long bit to prevent breakage, and store in a dry place to maintain condition.
