Insta360 X5 Bundle action cam 72 MP 8K Ultra HD 360°

The Insta360 X5 360° camera combines larger 1/1.28" sensors with a Triple AI Chip system to deliver high-resolution 360° photos and video. It records supersampled 11K-to-8K video, supports 4K60 first-person capture, and produces 72MP 360° photos. Durable optical film and improved drop resistance protect the lenses, while a replaceable lens design allows quick repair. The camera offers up to 185 minutes of recording on its 2400mAh battery, FlowState stabilization, 360° horizon lock, and waterproofing to 15 m (49 ft). A new Wind Guard and upgraded audio algorithms reduce wind noise, and the optional Mic Air enables professional wireless audio and remote control. Magnetic mounting, easy palm and voice controls, and advanced AI reframing in the Insta360 app simplify shooting and editing.

Advantages

X5 delivers true-to-life colors and enhanced clarity through large sensors and an AI-driven processing system. Supersampling from 11K to 8K increases detail for immersive footage, while upgraded low-light processing and noise reduction improve night and shadow performance. The replaceable lens design minimizes downtime after impact, and tougher optical film increases scratch and drop resistance. Action modes include 60fps capture for smoother motion, FlowState stabilization for stable footage, and 360° Horizon Lock to keep the skyline steady. The camera supports invisible selfie stick shots, simultaneous full 360° recording plus a smart flat output for instant sharing, and traditional action-camera POV in 4K60 or MaxView 170° at 4K30. Audio improvements include a multi-layer Wind Guard and wind-noise reduction algorithm; Mic Air provides direct, compact wireless audio. Long battery life, magnetic mounts, and cloud editing/backup add workflow convenience.

How to use

Power on the camera, choose a shooting mode in the camera or Insta360 app, and start recording. For hands-free operation use palm gestures, voice control, or Mic Air remote trigger. To capture both immersive 360° footage and ready-to-share flat video, select Selfie View or Fixed View before filming; the device records a full 360° clip simultaneously for later reframing. For action POV, mount the camera and select 4K60 or MaxView 4K30. Replace damaged lenses by popping them out and snapping in replacements, and swap batteries quickly with the magnetic mounting system. Use FlowState stabilization and 360° Horizon Lock for smooth results during movement, and apply AI reframing or Shot Lab templates in the app for fast editing and sharing. Back up files to the Insta360 cloud to free card space and enable cross-device access.

Recommendations

Use the Wind Guard and wind-noise reduction modes for outdoor, high-speed activities. For underwater filming beyond 15 m, use the Invisible Dive Case. Keep spare replaceable lenses and batteries for extended trips, and use AI reframing in the Insta360 app to produce shareable flat videos quickly without detailed editing.
