Intel CPU Desktop Core i7-14700 (fino a 5,40 GHz, 33M Cache, LGA1700) Tray

For system builders and IT professionals assembling high-performance desktop workstations, the Intel Core i7-14700 brings a compelling mix of multi-threaded muscle and single-core speed. This 14th Gen Raptor Lake Refresh processor packs 20 cores—8 Performance-cores and 12 Efficient-cores—to handle demanding workloads like video editing, 3D rendering, and software compilation without breaking a sweat. With a max turbo frequency of 5.40 GHz and 33 MB of Intel Smart Cache, it delivers responsive performance in both lightly and heavily threaded applications. The LGA1700 socket ensures compatibility with a wide range of 600- and 700-series motherboards, while the tray packaging makes it ideal for volume builds and system integrators.

Why choose it

The Core i7-14700 strikes an excellent balance between price and performance, offering more cores than its predecessor and impressive single-thread speed for gaming and everyday tasks. Its hybrid architecture intelligently routes workloads to the right cores, maximizing efficiency. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics 770 provides display output without a discrete GPU, which is perfect for office PCs or troubleshooting. With support for both DDR5 and DDR4 memory, it offers flexibility for different build budgets. The tray packaging reduces cost and waste, making it a smart choice for volume system builders.

Ideal use cases

• High-performance desktop workstations for content creation and engineering
• Mid-range gaming rigs when paired with a discrete graphics card
• Business PCs that need reliable multi-tasking and future-proofing
• Custom builds by system integrators and IT departments
• Home servers and media centers requiring efficient multi-threaded processing

Good to know

The processor does not include a cooling solution; a compatible LGA1700 cooler is required. It supports Intel 600-series and 700-series chipsets with a BIOS update. For optimal performance, pair with a Z790 motherboard and high-speed DDR5 memory. The tray version is intended for system integrators and may not include retail packaging. Ensure your power supply can handle the 253 W maximum turbo power when under heavy load.
