Intellinet Switch Gigabit Ethernet 5 porte, formato desktop, case in metallo, IEEE 802.3az (Energy Efficient Ethernet)

The Intellinet 5-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch is a compact metal desktop switch designed for home and small office networks. It provides five RJ-45 Gigabit ports supporting 10/100/1000 Mbps speeds and complies with IEEE networking standards to deliver reliable wired connectivity for everyday networking tasks.

Advantages

This five‑port Gigabit switch requires no configuration and supports Plug-and-Play installation with auto-learning MAC address capability. Auto-MDI/MDI-X on every port removes the need for crossover cables, and each port automatically negotiates 10/100/1000 Mbps and full or half duplex to maximize compatibility and performance. The device implements flow control, store-and-forward switching and broadcast storm control for stable operation under heavy traffic.

Suitable for

• Small office wired networks
• Home networks requiring multiple wired connections
• Connecting NAS or desktop PCs for file backup and disk mirroring
• Bandwidth‑intensive tasks such as large file transfers and graphics work

Key specifications

• Ports: 5 x RJ-45 Gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mbps)
• Switching method: Store-and-forward
• Standards: IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab, 802.3x, 802.3az
• MAC address table: 1024 entries
• Power: 5V DC input
• Color: Black
• Weight: 0.31 kg

How to use

Place the switch on a stable, ventilated surface and connect the included power adapter to the 5V DC input. Use standard RJ-45 cables to connect your computers, NAS devices or other Ethernet equipment to the switch ports. The switch will automatically detect link speed and duplex settings for each connected device and learn MAC addresses to forward traffic appropriately; no manual configuration is required.

Recommendations

For best performance, use quality Cat5e or Cat6 Ethernet cables, avoid stacking devices on top of the switch to prevent overheating, and place the switch near the devices it serves to minimize cable lengths and signal loss.
