Interruttore automatico Hager SBN463 – 63 A, tensione bobina fino a 440 V, 4 moduli, IP20

Hager SBN463 is a 4-module circuit breaker designed for DIN-rail mounting in distribution boards. It provides a rated current of 63 A with a coil voltage rating up to 440 V and is intended to protect circuits in residential and light-commercial electrical installations. Compact dimensions (height 83 mm, depth 70 mm) and IP20 protection make the device suitable for standard indoor electrical panels where space efficiency and basic finger-safe protection are required.

Advantages

The device combines a high rated current of 63 A with four-module width, allowing integration into compact distribution boards without sacrificing capacity. The coil voltage rating up to 440 V supports a range of control and switching arrangements. DIN-rail compatibility simplifies installation and replacement, while IP20 protection ensures basic safeguarding against accidental contact in indoor electrical cabinets.

Key specifications

How to use

Install the circuit breaker on a standard DIN-rail in the distribution board following local electrical codes. Ensure the device is mounted in a dry, indoor environment compatible with IP20 protection. Connect line and load conductors to the designated terminals and verify correct tightening torque as specified by the installer manual. Verify coil control voltage does not exceed 440 V and perform functional testing after wiring to confirm tripping behavior and proper operation within the installation.

Recommendations

For reliable protection, pair the breaker with appropriate upstream and downstream components such as fuses, contactors, or residual-current devices as required by the circuit design. Schedule periodic inspections for terminal tightness and visible damage, and replace the device if any signs of wear or thermal stress are observed.
