Inverter Voltcraft PSW 300-24-G 300 W 24 V DC a 230 V AC

The Voltcraft PSW 300-24-G is a pure sine wave power inverter that converts 24 V DC battery input into 230 V AC output with a rated continuous power of 300 W. Designed for mobile and backup power applications, this compact inverter supplies stable, low-distortion AC suitable for sensitive electronics and common household appliances. The unit is intended to operate from vehicle or stationary 24 V battery systems and includes built-in protections to help prevent overloads and damage to connected devices.

Advantages

The pure sine wave output delivers clean AC power that closely matches mains electricity, reducing interference and compatibility issues with laptops, audio equipment, chargers, and precision tools. Its compact form factor and straightforward connections make it suitable for installation in vehicles, boats, and off-grid setups. Integrated protection features such as over-voltage, under-voltage, overload and short-circuit protection improve operational safety and prolong the service life of both the inverter and connected loads.

Suitable for

• Powering laptops, mobile device chargers and small audio/video equipment
• Running small household appliances such as fans, LED lamps and kitchen gadgets within the power limit
• Providing AC power for tools and chargers in mobile workshops and service vehicles
• Backup power for routers, modems and essential devices during short outages

Key specifications

• DC input voltage: 24 V
• AC output voltage: 230 V
• Rated continuous output power: 300 W
• Waveform: pure sine wave
• Suitability: designed for mobile and stationary 24 V battery systems
• Protection features: overload, short-circuit, over-voltage and under-voltage protection

How to use

Connect the inverter to a compatible 24 V battery or vehicle electrical system using appropriately sized cables and secure terminals; observe correct polarity. Place the inverter on a flat, ventilated surface away from direct heat and moisture. Plug AC devices into the inverter’s outlet(s) and ensure the combined power draw does not exceed the rated 300 W continuous output. Monitor the inverter during operation and avoid running inductive or high-startup-current loads that exceed its capabilities.

Recommendations

For reliable operation, use the inverter with batteries that can supply sufficient current for the intended load and keep connections clean and tight. Allow adequate ventilation to prevent overheating, and avoid prolonged use near the maximum rated power. When powering sensitive electronics, verify the device's start-up current and confirm compatibility with pure sine wave output.
