Kaiser Elektro Sistema Dosenschott DS 90 9459-03 Guarnizione tagliafuoco da incasso

For electrical installations in fire-rated walls and ceilings, the Dosenschott System DS 90 9459-03 from Kaiser Elektro provides a certified fire and smoke barrier directly inside standard flush-mounted and cavity wall boxes. Unlike surface-mounted fire protection solutions that require additional space or complex enclosures, this insertable bulkhead integrates into the box itself, maintaining the integrity of F90-rated building components without altering the installation workflow.

Highlights

• Fire resistance rating F90 (90 minutes) according to general building inspection approval Z-19.15-1726
• Halogen-free, silicone-free, and solvent-free intumescent compound for safe use in occupied buildings
• Compatible with standard electrical device and junction boxes with a nominal diameter of 60 mm
• Insertable design for quick retrofitting or new installations
• Prevents fire and smoke spread through electrical installations in fire-rated components

In daily use

Installers appreciate the straightforward handling: the DS 90 bulkhead is simply inserted into the box before or after wiring, depending on the box type. Its intumescent material remains inert under normal conditions, but in the event of fire it expands to seal the box opening, blocking flames and hot gases. Because it is halogen-free and solvent-free, there are no corrosive by-products or unpleasant odours during installation or in the long term.
