KF X Fader Filtro ND Variabile 82mm ND2-ND400 Grigio

The KF X Fader 82mm Variable Neutral Density Filter is a professional-grade tool designed for photographers and videographers who need precise control over exposure. With a variable density range from ND2 to ND400 (1 to 8.6 stops), this filter allows you to achieve long exposures, motion blur, and shallow depth of field even in bright light conditions. Crafted with Japanese AGC optical glass and 28 multi-layer coatings, it ensures minimal color shift and excellent image quality. The ultra-slim aviation aluminum alloy frame features X-pattern elimination technology for consistent performance across the entire density range.

Advantages

This VND filter offers exceptional versatility, replacing multiple fixed ND filters. Its variable design lets you quickly adjust exposure without changing filters, saving time and reducing the risk of dust entering the camera. The advanced coatings provide water and scratch resistance, making it durable for outdoor use. The double-threaded frame allows for stacking additional filters or attaching a lens cap.

Suitable for

• Landscape photographers capturing smooth waterfalls or cloud motion
• Videographers needing consistent shutter speed in changing light
• Portrait photographers using wide apertures in bright sunlight
• Architectural photographers reducing glare and reflections

Recommendations

For best results, use with a sturdy tripod and remote shutter release to avoid camera shake during long exposures. The filter's variable density allows creative flexibility, but be aware that at maximum density (ND400), some X-pattern may appear with ultra-wide lenses; this is normal and can be mitigated by stopping down the aperture slightly.
