4.8 L Stainless Steel Bowl with Comfortable Handle

4.8 L stainless steel bowl with comfortable handle offers enough capacity to mix dough for 9 dozen cookies, 4.5 loaves of bread or 3.17 kilograms of mashed potatoes in a single batch. The bowl is also dishwasher-safe for quick and easy cleanup.

59-Point Planetary Mixing Action

59-Point Planetary Mixing Action means 59 touchpoints per rotation around the bowl for thorough ingredient incorporation. The beater, dough hook or wire whip rotates around the bowl, giving incredible bowl coverage for comprehensive mixing.

Tilt-Head Design

The tilt-head design allows clear access to the bowl and attached beater or accessory so you can easily add ingredients for a recipe. Locking the head into place during operation keeps the beater-to-bowl contact close and efficient.

Powerful enough for nearly any task or recipe, whether you are stirring wet and dry ingredients together, kneading bread dough or whipping cream.

Model KSM150PS Includes

Everything you need for recipes from cookies to ciabatta bread, with a coated flat beater, coated dough hook, 6-wire whip and 1-piece pouring shield. The flat beater and dough hook are dishwasher-safe.

How to use

Fit the required attachment into the multipurpose hub and lock it into place. Select the appropriate bowl (3 L or 4.8 L) and add ingredients, using the transparent pouring shield to prevent splashes. Start at a low speed to combine ingredients, then increase speed as needed for whisking, mixing or kneading. For doughs, use the flex edge beater to ensure even incorporation; the beater reduces the need to scrape the bowl manually. After use, switch off and unplug the mixer before removing attachments and washing the stainless steel bowl and accessories according to the manufacturer’s care instructions.

Recommendations

Use the 4.8 L bowl for larger batches and the 3 L bowl for smaller recipes to reduce cleaning. Choose the flex edge beater for sticky or soft doughs and consult the supplied cookbook for recipe ideas and attachment guidance.
