Kramer Electronics VS-611DT commutatore automatico 6x1:2 4K60 4:2:0 HDMI/HDBaseT Extended Reach PoE

Most switchers force a choice between local and remote distribution, but the VS-611DT merges six inputs—four HDMI and two extended-reach HDBaseT—into a single half-rack unit that feeds both an HDMI and an HDBaseT output simultaneously. This dual-output design eliminates the need for a separate distribution amplifier in many AV installations, while Power over Ethernet (PoE) removes the clutter of extra power supplies at remote receiver locations.

Highlights

• 6x1:2 switching with four HDMI and two HDBaseT inputs, plus mirrored HDMI and HDBaseT outputs
• Supports 4K@60Hz (4:2:0) resolution with HDCP 2.2 compliance for protected content
• Extended HDBaseT reach: up to 40 m for 4K, up to 70 m for 1080p over a single Cat cable
• PoE (Power over Ethernet) feeds compatible HDBaseT receivers, simplifying installation
• Flexible control via auto-switching, front panel, RS-232, Ethernet web GUI, and OSD
• Audio embedding and de-embedding for seamless integration with external audio systems
• EDID management ensures optimal resolution and audio format negotiation

In daily use

In a conference room or classroom, the VS-611DT automatically switches to the most recently active source, so presenters can connect a laptop without touching a button. The mirrored outputs let you send the same presentation to a local display over HDMI and to a remote projector over HDBaseT, with PoE powering the receiver at the projector end. For fine-tuning, the web GUI or RS-232 provides deep control, while the OSD allows on-screen adjustments without a computer.
