KWB 982310 cunei per posa pavimenti in legno di faggio, 20 pezzi

Set of 20 KWB wood wedges crafted from beechwood, designed for carpentry and fitting tasks that require precise spacing, alignment or temporary securing. The wedges are compact and uniform in size, offering consistent performance for splitting, leveling, shimming and clamping operations. The natural hardness and stability of beechwood deliver reliable strength suitable for both professional and DIY use.

Advantages

The beechwood construction ensures good durability and a smooth finish that is gentle on adjoining surfaces. A set of 20 identical wedges provides repeatable results and convenient on-site availability. Their tapered shape allows fine incremental adjustments while resisting deformation under moderate force. Lightweight and easy to handle, the wedges store neatly in workshop toolboxes or on-site kits.

How to use

Select a wedge suitable for the gap or joint to be adjusted and insert it with the thin end first to achieve the required spacing. Tap gently with a hammer or mallet to drive the wedge into position for a snug fit; for fine adjustments, use progressively larger wedges or carefully pare the wedge if necessary. After clamping or gluing operations are complete, remove the wedges by prying them out with a suitable tool or tapping the thick end in the opposite direction. Store the remaining wedges in a dry place to maintain wood condition.

Recommendations

Do not expose the wedges to prolonged moisture or direct outdoor weathering to avoid swelling or warping. For tasks that require high-impact splitting or heavy structural load-bearing, use metal or synthetic wedges specified for such applications. Inspect wedges before use and replace any pieces that show excessive wear, cracks or deformation.
