Lavavetri Leifheit 51522, 40 cm verde, tergivetro e lavavetri

Leifheit 51522 is a 40 cm window cleaning tool in green combining a soft washing pad and a flexible squeegee blade to remove water, dirt and streaks from glass surfaces. Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the tool fits standard Leifheit handles and provides an integrated solution for cleaning windows, mirrors and shower cabins. The 40 cm working width balances coverage and manoeuvrability for regular home or light professional maintenance.

Advantages

The integrated washer and squeegee design allows one-step cleaning: the microfiber or soft washing pad loosens grime while the squeegee blade removes water and leaves a streak-free surface. The 40 cm width covers medium to large panes efficiently while remaining easy to handle. Compatibility with Leifheit handles offers extended reach for high or hard-to-reach windows. Durable materials and a replaceable pad extend service life and simplify maintenance.

Suitable for

• Domestic window cleaning (single- and double-pane windows)
• Mirrors in bathrooms and dressing areas
• Shower cabins and glass doors
• Small commercial premises requiring regular glass maintenance

Key specifications

• Working width: 40 cm
• Color: green
• Combination tool: washing pad plus squeegee blade
• Suitable for indoor and outdoor glass cleaning
• Compatible with standard Leifheit extension handles
• Replaceable washing pad

How to use

Attach the tool to a Leifheit handle if extended reach is required or hold it by the head for close-range work. Dampen the washing pad with water or a mild glass cleaner, wipe the glass surface to loosen dirt, and immediately follow with the squeegee blade from top to bottom to remove liquid. Wipe the squeegee edge with a cloth after each pass to avoid re-depositing dirt. Rinse or replace the washing pad when it becomes heavily soiled.

Recommendations

For best results, use filtered or tap water with a mild, non-abrasive glass cleaner and avoid direct sunlight which can cause rapid drying and streaks. Store the tool dry and replace the washing pad periodically to maintain cleaning performance.
