Le Creuset Padella griglia quadrata in ghisa 26x26 cm blu

For home cooks who want rich, smoky sear marks on steaks, vegetables, and halloumi without firing up an outdoor grill, this square cast iron grill pan delivers. The 26 x 26 cm ribbed cooking surface creates deep char lines while draining excess fat away from food, and the dual pour spouts make it easy to discard liquids or pour off pan sauces.

Why choose it

Cast iron retains heat exceptionally well, so the pan stays hot when you add food, giving you a consistent sear. The ribbed base lifts ingredients above rendered fat, and the enamel coating means no seasoning is required—just wash and dry after use.

Ideal use cases

• Searing steaks, chops, and chicken breasts with grill marks
• Grilling sliced vegetables like courgette, aubergine, and peppers
• Making paninis or toasted sandwiches with pressed ridges
• Cooking halloumi or paneer without sticking

Good to know

The pan is PFOA and PTFE free. To protect the enamel, use wooden, silicone, or nylon tools and allow the pan to cool before washing.
