Lena SM52261 giocattolo di attività/destrezza trottola

The Lena SM52261 twirling spinning top is a colorful toy for children from 1.5 years old that encourages development through play. Its compact 16 cm size and rounded shape make it suitable for small hands, while the bright ladybug design provides a clear visual target for spinning. Constructed from durable, child-safe materials, this spinning top is intended for supervised indoor and outdoor use and supports sensory exploration and early motor skill practice.

Advantages

This spinning top promotes fine motor skills and hand–eye coordination by requiring controlled wrist and finger movements to launch and maintain rotation. The sturdy construction resists everyday impacts and retains its shape after repeated play. Lightweight and easy to clean, the toy is designed with smooth edges to reduce the risk of scratching or pinching. The distinct colors and pattern improve visual tracking, helping children focus on motion and develop attention to moving objects.

Suitable for

• Developing fine motor skills in toddlers (from 1.5 years)
• Hand–eye coordination exercises and sensory play
• Short supervised indoor play sessions and outdoor play on flat surfaces
• Preschool group activities and play-based learning

Key specifications

• Recommended age: from 1.5 years
• Design: ladybug-themed colorful pattern
• Approximate size: 16 cm diameter/height (compact for toddlers)
• Material: durable, non-toxic plastics and finishes suitable for children
• Weight: lightweight for easy spinning by small hands
• Finish: smooth edges for safe handling

How to use

Place the spinning top on a flat, level surface. Hold the body of the top between thumb and forefinger, then give a quick twisting motion with the wrist or fingers to set it spinning. For younger children, an adult can demonstrate the motion and assist with the initial spin until the child can operate the toy independently. Use on hard floors or tabletops for best rotation; carpets and uneven surfaces will reduce spinning time.

Recommendations

Always supervise children during play. Regularly inspect the spinning top for any signs of wear or damage and remove it from play if parts become loose. Clean with a damp cloth and mild soap as needed. Avoid leaving the toy outdoors exposed to prolonged moisture or direct sunlight to preserve color and material integrity.
