Lenovo 00AD077 disco fisso interno 1,2 TB 10000 giri/min 2,5 pollici SAS

The IBM 00AD077 internal hard drive provides 1.2 TB of storage in a compact 2.5" form factor and uses a SAS interface with a 10,000 RPM spindle speed. Designed for integration into servers and workstations, this HDD balances capacity and rotational performance to deliver fast random access and sustained throughput for business applications that require reliable storage. The drive is intended for environments where consistent performance and compatibility with SAS controllers are important.

Advantages

This 2.5" SAS HDD offers a combination of high spindle speed and enterprise-grade design to reduce latency and improve transaction performance compared with lower-RPM drives. Its 1.2 TB capacity allows efficient use of rack space while maintaining a compact footprint. The SAS interface supports high availability deployments and typical server-class error recovery features, contributing to predictable behavior under load.

Key specifications

• Form factor: 2.5"
• Capacity: 1.2 TB (1200 GB)
• Rotational speed: 10,000 RPM
• Interface: SAS (Serial Attached SCSI)
• Designed use: enterprise/server class workloads

How to use

Install the drive into a compatible 2.5" SAS bay or hot-swap tray following the server or enclosure manufacturer's installation procedure. Ensure the SAS controller and firmware support the drive and configure RAID or logical volumes as required by your deployment. After physical installation, initialize and format the disk in the host operating system or storage management utility, and monitor SMART attributes and controller logs to confirm healthy operation.

Recommendations

For sustained performance in multi-drive arrays, pair this HDD with appropriate RAID levels and caching strategies; maintain current firmware and monitor drive health to prevent unexpected downtime. Use in environments with adequate cooling and vibration control to preserve reliability.
