Lettore di codici a barre portatile Star Micronics BSH-32U 1D/2D CMOS con cavo USB

The Star Micronics BSH-32U is a handheld bar code reader with a high-resolution CMOS imager and wired USB connection for reliable data transfer. Designed for 1D and 2D barcode capture — including on-screen codes, QR codes and product labels — it includes a Smart Stand that allows quick switching between trigger-press and hands-free operation. The device combines an ergonomic form factor with robust construction suitable for point-of-sale and inventory environments.

Advantages

The BSH-32U reads and parses both 1D and 2D barcodes from paper, digital displays and uneven surfaces thanks to its high-resolution imager and powerful CPU. Its Smart Stand enables simple transition to hands-free scanning. The scanner has an IP42 rating for dust and water resistance and is drop-tested to survive falls up to 1.5 meters, while the wired USB interface ensures stable, low-latency data connectivity.

How to use

Connect the BSH-32U to a compatible host via the USB cable and allow the host to recognise the device. Use the trigger for handheld scanning or place the scanner in the included Smart Stand and switch to hands-free mode. Align the scanner’s imager with the barcode or on-screen code until the unit indicates a successful read. For best results, keep the imager lens clean and steady during scanning.

Recommendations

The scanner performs reliably on printed labels and mobile displays; maintain the Smart Stand for frequent hands-free tasks and avoid exposing the device to strong water jets. Periodically inspect and clean the imager window to ensure continued reading accuracy.
