Lindy 150m Cat.6 HDMI 4K60 & Type C HDBaseT EU piastra a parete KVM-Extender, trasmettitore

The Lindy Cat.6 HDBaseT HDMI 4K60 & Type C Wall Plate Transmitter extends HDMI or USB-C and USB signals up to 150 m over Cat.6 (or better) cable using the HDBaseT standard. Combined with a compatible HDBaseT receiver (for example Lindy No. 38389) it supports reliable AV and data transmission for installations such as digital signage, conference rooms and lecture halls.

Advantages

This wall plate transmitter supports resolutions up to 4K Ultra HD and HDR for improved brightness, contrast and colour range. It offers two operating modes that trade off resolution and distance: Standard Mode for up to 90 m at 4K60 and Long Reach Mode for up to 150 m at 4K30 when used with high-quality Cat.6 or better U/UTP or F/UTP cable. The unit includes a front-panel Source button (with auto-switch capability) to toggle between Type C and HDMI inputs, PoC (Power over Cable) with an On/Off switch to supply power over the network cable, bi-directional IR ports for remote control from either end, and an RS-232 terminal block for control integration.

Key specifications

• Standard: HDBaseT transmission over Cat.6 or above
• Maximum distance: up to 150 m (Long Reach Mode) / up to 90 m (Standard Mode)
• Supported resolutions: up to 3840×2160; 60 Hz at up to 4:4:4 8bit (90 m) / 30 Hz at 4:4:4 8bit (150 m) with fallback to 4:2:2 12bit
• Inputs: HDMI (with USB) and USB-C
• Controls: front-panel Source button with auto-switch; PoC On/Off switch
• Control ports: bi-directional IR on both ends; RS-232 via rear terminal block
• Compatibility: requires compatible HDBaseT receiver (e.g., Lindy No. 38389)

How to use

Install the wall plate transmitter at the source location and connect the HDMI (with USB) or USB-C source to the corresponding input. Run a single Cat.6 (or better) cable from the transmitter to a compatible HDBaseT receiver at the display location. Use the front-panel Source button to select between Type C and HDMI inputs or enable auto-switching if preferred. If using PoC, enable the PoC switch so only one power supply is needed on one side of the link. Connect IR and RS-232 control lines as required for remote control and integration.

Recommendations

Use high-quality Cat.6 or above U/UTP or F/UTP cable and a direct point-to-point connection between transmitter and receiver. Avoid additional couplers, patch panels or poor-quality cable to preserve maximum possible distance and resolution.
