Livella Bahco 426TOR9

The Bahco 426TOR9 level is a compact, lightweight measuring tool designed for accurate horizontal and vertical alignment in construction, woodworking and general DIY tasks. Weighing approximately 210 g, it combines a robust aluminium profile with clear vials to deliver reliable bubble readings. Its compact size makes it practical for site work, tight spaces and portable toolkits while the durable construction helps maintain calibration over time.

Advantages

The level offers precise vial visibility and a rigid body that resists bending and wear during regular use. Its low weight reduces fatigue when carrying multiple tools, and the compact length simplifies storage in a toolbox or on a belt. The device is suitable for repeated on-site use thanks to its solid build and consistent performance for both horizontal and vertical leveling.

Suitable for

• Checking and setting horizontal surfaces during installation of shelves, cabinets and benches
• Aligning vertical surfaces such as door frames, studs and posts
• General carpentry and joinery tasks that require quick, portable leveling
• Home improvement and DIY projects where a small, accurate level is needed

Key specifications

• Weight: approximately 210 g
• Construction: rigid aluminium profile for durability
• Vials: clear liquid-filled vials for horizontal and vertical readings
• Size: compact form factor suitable for tight spaces and portable toolkits
• Intended use: manual spirit-level measurements for alignment and leveling tasks

How to use

Place the Bahco 426TOR9 level on the surface to be checked, ensuring full contact along the profile. Read the bubble position in the appropriate vial to determine if the surface is level or plumb. For horizontal checks use the horizontal vial; for vertical alignment use the vertical vial. If adjustment is required, shift the element being installed and recheck until the bubble centers. Store the level on a flat surface or in a toolbox to avoid knocks that could affect vial alignment.

Recommendations

For accurate results, clean contact surfaces before measurement and avoid using the level on highly curved or soft materials that may not provide stable support. Verify vial calibration periodically by checking against a known flat surface and rotate the level 180 degrees; readings should match. Keep the tool dry and store it where it will not be subjected to heavy impacts.
