LNB QUAD MACLEAN MCTV-629 65 dB — LNB satellitare con quattro uscite, bassa figura di rumore

MACLEAN LNB QUAD MCTV-629 is a quad-output satellite low-noise block downconverter designed for Ku-band reception. With four independent outputs it allows connection of up to four receivers or a multiswitch, converting high-frequency satellite signals to L-band for standard satellite tuners. The device is intended for use with common parabolic dishes and provides a consistent signal path for small multi-room installations or single-dish multi-tuner setups.

Advantages

The LNB features a low noise figure and stable conversion characteristics that help maintain signal quality across all four outputs. Its quad-output design eliminates the need for external splitters when connecting multiple receivers, and the unit is compatible with typical Ku-band dishes and standard mounting hardware. The compact housing offers straightforward installation and a reliable connection for each tuner line.

How to use

Mount the LNB on the dish feed arm so the feedhorn aligns with the dish focal point, secure with the appropriate clamp and connectors, then run coaxial cables from each of the four outputs to the corresponding satellite receivers or to the inputs of a multiswitch. Power is supplied from the connected receivers via the coaxial cable; ensure each receiver is configured for LNB power and correct polarisation settings. Perform signal strength and quality checks on each tuner to fine-tune dish alignment for optimal reception.

Recommendations

Use high-quality, properly shielded coaxial cables and weatherproof F-type connectors to minimize signal loss. When feeding multiple receivers, verify receiver settings for voltage and polarization and consider professional alignment if signal levels are marginal. For long cable runs, check signal levels on each tuner and use a low-loss cable or an inline amplifier if necessary.
