Lucchetto a combinazione ABUS SL 5 180IB/50HB63 lucchetto di sicurezza a 5 cifre, archetto in acciaio inox, resistente alle intemperie

ABUS SL 5 180IB/50HB63 is a combination padlock with a 5-digit code mechanism designed for keyed-free access control. The lock has a compact body and a stainless steel shackle that provides increased resistance to cutting and corrosion. Weather-resistant construction ensures reliable operation in outdoor and indoor environments. The five-digit code offers a large number of possible combinations, enabling easy sharing of access without keys and flexible code changes when needed.

Advantages

The stainless steel shackle improves corrosion resistance and mechanical durability compared with standard shackles, while the weather-resistant body protects internal components from moisture and dust. The 5-digit combination mechanism eliminates the need for keys and allows multiple users to memorize or change the code. Compact dimensions make the padlock suitable for constrained spaces and for use on lockers, cabinets, gates and storage units.

Suitable for

• School and gym lockers
• Outdoor gates and fences
• Storage units and sheds
• Toolboxes and equipment cases
• Shared access points where keys are impractical

Key specifications

• Lock type: 5-digit combination padlock
• Shackle material: stainless steel
• Body: compact, weather-resistant construction
• Code permutations: five-digit code for multiple combinations
• Suitable environments: indoor and outdoor use
• Typical applications: lockers, gates, storage units, equipment protection

How to use

Set or change the 5-digit code according to the manufacturer’s instructions supplied with the lock. To open the padlock, align the digits to the set combination and pull the shackle. After use, close the shackle and scramble the digits to prevent others from observing the code. Regularly check the shackle and body for signs of wear or corrosion; clean the exterior with mild detergent and rinse with fresh water if exposed to salt or heavy dirt.

Recommendations

Choose a unique 5-digit code that is not easily guessable (avoid sequential or repeated digits). For outdoor installations, mount the padlock in a sheltered position where possible to reduce direct exposure to strong weather. Periodically lubricate the shackle and locking mechanism with a silicone-based or manufacturer-recommended lubricant to maintain smooth operation.
