Lucchetto per bicicletta FISCHER 85854 — lunghezza 700 mm, diametro 18 mm, nero

Cable-style bicycle lock FISCHER 85854 is a compact security accessory with a 700 mm length and 18 mm diameter designed to secure bicycles and e-mobility devices. The lock combines a flexible steel core with a protective outer cover to reduce the risk of frame scratches and surface damage. Its lightweight construction and moderate length make it suitable for short stops and daily urban commuting as a supplementary or secondary locking option.

Advantages

The flexible steel core provides bendability for easy routing through frames and around fixed objects while maintaining basic theft deterrence. A protective outer cover prevents paint damage and minimizes noise when the cable moves. The lock’s moderate diameter balances portability and resistance to casual tampering. Compact dimensions and low weight allow it to be carried in a bag or mounted on the frame when not in use.

Suitable for (tasks / use cases)

• Securing bicycles during short stops in urban environments
• Supplementary or secondary locking in combination with a primary U-lock or chain
• Locking scooters, e-scooters and other small e-mobility devices
• Temporary locking at shops, cafés or public transport hubs

How to use

Pass the cable through the bicycle frame and wheel, or loop it around the frame and a fixed object such as a rack or post. Secure the cable by closing the locking mechanism according to the manufacturer's instructions and ensure the lock is fully engaged before leaving the bicycle unattended. For greater security, use this cable lock together with a more robust primary lock to immobilize the frame.

Recommendations

Use this cable lock as a convenient secondary measure for short stops and low-risk locations. Avoid relying on cable locks alone in high-theft areas; combine with a hardened U-lock or heavy chain for increased protection. Store the lock dry and check the locking mechanism periodically for wear or corrosion.
