For optimal performance in ducted mode, use a 150 mm duct and keep the run as short and straight as possible. If recirculating, replace the carbon filters every 3-6 months depending on usage. Clean the aluminum grease filter regularly—either by hand or in the dishwasher—to maintain airflow and reduce fire risk. Install the hood at the recommended height above your cooktop (typically 65-75 cm for electric, 75-85 cm for gas) for best capture.
