Magnetizzatore/demagnetizzatore Gedore R38990000 altezza 35 mm peso 82 g

The Gedore R38990000 magnetizer/demagnetizer is a compact handheld tool designed to alter the magnetic state of screwdrivers and other small metallic tools. Measuring 35 mm in height and weighing 82 g, this unit is sized for portability and quick access on a workbench or in a tool pouch. The device provides straightforward magnetizing and demagnetizing functions to improve screw retention or to remove unwanted magnetism before sensitive assembly.

Advantages

This magnetizer/demagnetizer delivers simple two-mode operation for fast conversion between magnetized and demagnetized states without complex setup. Its small form factor and light weight make it easy to carry and position precisely on tool tips. The construction is durable for regular workshop use and the magnetic field strength is balanced to provide reliable screw holding while avoiding excessive residual magnetism.

Suitable for

• Magnetizing screwdriver tips to improve screw retention during fastening
• Demagnetizing tools prior to work on electronic components or magnetic-sensitive assemblies
• Maintenance tasks in automotive, industrial, and household tool kits
• Portable use on-site where quick switching between magnetized and demagnetized states is needed

Key specifications

• Height: 35 mm
• Weight: 82 g
• Functionality: magnetize and demagnetize small hand tools
• Form factor: compact, handheld
• Intended materials: ferrous tool tips and small steel parts

How to use

To magnetize a screwdriver, insert the tip into the magnetizing opening or follow the manufacturer marking for the magnetize side, then move the tip in and out a few times until the desired level of retention is achieved. To demagnetize, use the demagnetizing side or opening and withdraw the tool slowly while keeping it centered; repeat as needed until residual magnetism is reduced. No power source is required and operation is immediate. Handle the unit carefully to maintain the integrity of the magnetic elements and avoid placing it close to magnetic-sensitive devices while in use.

Recommendations

Use the magnetizer/demagnetizer on clean, dry tool tips. Verify magnetization level by testing screw pick-up on a scrap fastener before working on vulnerable components. When demagnetizing, keep a safe distance from items affected by magnetic fields and repeat the demagnetizing motion until interference is eliminated.
