Maschio filettato per attrezzo per rivetti ciechi GESIPA FireFox, filettatura M10 per rivetti ciechi M6

Threaded mandrel compatible with the GESIPA FireFox blind rivet nut tool. This replacement mandrel features an external M10 thread configured specifically for use with M6 blind rivet nuts. It is designed to provide correct engagement with M6 rivet nuts and to deliver consistent, repeatable installation performance when used with the FireFox blind rivet nut tool on metal sheets and similar materials.

Advantages

This mandrel is manufactured to match the thread form and dimensions required by the FireFox system, ensuring secure fitment and reduced play during operation. Its precise threading promotes reliable gripping and smooth extraction of spent parts, supporting consistent rivet nut deformation and proper clinch. The part helps maintain installation quality across repeated cycles and reduces the risk of tool or fastener damage caused by improper thread mating.

Suitable for

• Installation of M6 blind rivet nuts using the GESIPA FireFox tool
• Workshop and assembly-line applications requiring repeated, consistent rivet nut installation
• Blind fastening in sheet metal, enclosures, panels, and similar thin materials
• Maintenance and replacement of worn or damaged mandrels on the FireFox tool

Key specifications

• External thread size: M10 (for mating with the FireFox tool)
• Intended rivet nut thread compatibility: M6
• Material: hardened steel suitable for repeated mechanical use (manufacturer-specified grade)
• Finish: corrosion-resistant surface treatment as supplied by the manufacturer
• Design: precision-turned thread profile for correct engagement and repeatable installation

How to use

Fit the threaded mandrel into the spindle or chuck of the GESIPA FireFox blind rivet nut tool following the tool manufacturer's instructions. Ensure the mandrel is properly tightened and that the thread engagement is correct before inserting an M6 blind rivet nut onto the mandrel. Operate the FireFox tool to set the rivet nut per normal procedure, then reverse or remove the mandrel as required to withdraw the tool from the installed fastener. Replace the mandrel if signs of wear, thread damage, or poor engagement appear to maintain installation quality.

Recommendations

Use the mandrel only with the GESIPA FireFox blind rivet nut tool and M6 rivet nuts. Regularly inspect the thread form and surface for wear or deformation, and replace the mandrel when wear affects fit or installation consistency. Follow the FireFox tool maintenance schedule and torque/installation guidelines to prolong mandrel life and ensure reliable blind rivet nut installations.
