Matita acquerellabile Faber-Castell Albrecht Dürer 3,8 mm 30 pezzi

Albrecht Dürer artists' watercolour pencils offer versatile expression for drawing, shading and watercolor painting. Made with high-quality materials and reflecting over 250 years of manufacturing experience, these watercolor pencils deliver vivid colours and authentic watercolor effects. A coloured area can be transformed with a few fine or broad brush strokes to reveal the full intensity of the pigments; on suitable paper the pigments dissolve completely and behave like traditional watercolor paints.

Advantages

The pencils combine strong lightfast pigments with good solubility, allowing both detailed dry drawing and fluid watercolor washes. They enable easy transitions between pencil control and brush-applied washes, work on a variety of papers, and provide reliable colour reproduction and mixing capabilities.

Key specifications

• Type: artists' watercolour pencils
• Colour performance: vivid, water-soluble pigments
• Use: drawing, shading, watercolor painting
• Behaviour on paper: pigments can dissolve fully on suitable paper
• Manufacturer experience: over 250 years

How to use

Apply colour dry with the pencil for precise lines and shading, then use a damp brush to blend or activate the pigment for watercolor effects. For full wash-like behaviour, work on watercolor or mixed-media paper and apply water until the pigment dissolves as needed. Allow layers to dry between applications for controlled glazing or build-up.

Recommendations

Use heavier watercolor paper for full solubility and optimal colour mixing. Test pigments on scrap paper to choose the desired intensity and brush technique before applying to final work.
