Matita Staedtler 100J 2B, laccata blu, mina 5,3 mm, 1 pz.

Jumbo drawing pencil designed for professional and hobby use, offering a specially formulated lead that creates metallic-lustre effects across a broad range of grey tones. The pencil is suitable for writing, drawing, sketching and hatching on paper and matte drawing film, and is produced using wood from PEFC-certified, sustainably managed forests.

Advantages

The jumbo size provides comfortable handling and extended drawing time. Special lead formulation and super-bonded construction increase break-resistance, while the composition delivers clear, well-reproduced lines with a subtle metallic sheen. Sustainable wood sourcing ensures responsible production.

Key specifications

• Type: Jumbo drawing pencil
• Lead: Special formulation with metallic lustre
• Tone range: Wide variety of grey tones
• Suitable surfaces: Paper and matt drawing film
• Durability: High break-resistance due to super-bonded lead
• Wood: PEFC-certified, sustainably managed forests

How to use

Use the pencil for writing, freehand drawing, sketching and hatching. Apply varied pressure to achieve different grey tones and metallic effects. For fine details, sharpen carefully to expose a precise tip; for broader strokes, use the unsharpened edge or a blunt point. Test on a scrap of paper or film to determine the desired effect before working on the final surface.

Recommendations

Store the pencil horizontally in a dry place to prevent lead damage. Use an appropriate sharpener for jumbo pencils and avoid excessive pressure when shading to maintain lead integrity.
