Righello da tavolo Staedtler Mars 563 200 mm alluminio bianco

The Staedtler Mars 563 200 mm Aluminium White desk ruler is a precision measuring tool crafted in Germany. Made from lightweight aluminium with a white finish, it provides a straight, stable edge for drawing lines, transferring measurements and everyday measuring tasks. At 200 mm length, the ruler is compact enough for pencil cases and desk drawers while offering accurate metric graduations for classroom, office or studio use.

Advantages

The aluminium construction delivers a combination of low weight and robust rigidity that resists bending during normal use. The white surface improves contrast with pencil and ink markings, helping users read graduations more easily. The finely milled edges ensure a consistent straight edge for technical drawing and sketching. Being manufactured in Germany supports consistent quality control and dimensional accuracy.

Suitable for

• Technical drawing and drafting
• Student use in classrooms and exams
• Office measuring and layout tasks
• Hobbies such as model making and craftwork

Key specifications

• Material: aluminium with white finish
• Length: 200 mm
• Scale type: metric graduations (millimetres)
• Edge: straight, milled for precision
• Weight: lightweight design for easy handling
• Origin: manufactured in Germany

How to use

Place the ruler flat on the surface with the required edge aligned to the measurement points. Hold the ruler firmly with one hand to prevent slipping, and mark or draw along the straight edge with a pencil, pen or technical pen. For measurement, read the millimetre graduations directly opposite the measured point. Use the milled edge for clean lines in drawing and drafting tasks. Store the ruler in a pencil case or drawer to protect the edges when not in use.

Recommendations

To maintain accuracy, avoid exposing the ruler to heavy impacts or bending forces. Clean the surface gently with a soft cloth to remove graphite or ink; avoid abrasive cleaners that could damage the finish. For precise technical work, pair the ruler with a sharp pencil or fine technical pen and ensure the ruler is held steady against the work surface.
