Meccanismo a innesto DisplayPort Rutenbeck KM-DP KP Up 0 Pigtail 15 cm metallo

The Rutenbeck KM-DP KP Up 0 Pigtail 15 cm Metal is a DisplayPort socket mechanism engineered for installation in keystone panels or wall plates. It integrates a DisplayPort female connector with a fixed 15 cm pre-terminated pigtail, offering a compact and durable interface for transmitting DisplayPort signals in structured cabling and AV setups. The metal housing provides mechanical robustness suitable for repeated insertions and ensures stable alignment within installation frames.

Advantages

This metal DisplayPort socket mechanism combines a short pre-terminated pigtail with a standardized keystone form factor, simplifying installation into panels and wall plates. The 15 cm pigtail reduces field termination time and helps maintain signal integrity by providing a factory-terminated connection point. The metal construction increases resistance to mechanical wear and supports secure mounting in professional AV and cabling environments.

How to use

Install the keystone mechanism into a compatible keystone opening in a wall plate or panel until it clicks or locks in place according to the host plate design. Route the 15 cm pigtail to the appropriate patch or device connection and secure any additional cable management as required. Connect a DisplayPort cable from the external device to the front face of the socket. Ensure connectors are aligned and inserted gently to prevent damage to the port or mating cable.

Recommendations

For best results, use the mechanism within standard keystone frames and avoid excessive bending of the short pigtail. Verify that the receiving equipment and cables support the required DisplayPort signal version and any intended resolutions or refresh rates. Periodically inspect the metal housing and connector for wear if the port is used frequently.
