The Alantec SA-P-19-1U-550-4-C-02 is a professional-grade fixed rack shelf engineered for seamless integration into standard 19-inch server cabinets. Constructed from high-quality black steel, this 1U shelf provides a robust and reliable platform for mounting non-rack-mountable equipment, such as desktop switches, routers, or specialized monitoring hardware. With a depth of 550 mm and a four-point mounting system, it ensures maximum stability and weight distribution within your server rack environment.

Advantages

This rack shelf offers exceptional durability due to its solid steel construction, which is designed to withstand the rigors of a busy data center or server room. The four-point mounting design significantly enhances load-bearing capacity compared to standard cantilever shelves, ensuring that your equipment remains secure and level. Its sleek black finish provides a professional aesthetic that matches most modern server enclosures, while the 1U height profile helps optimize vertical space usage within the rack.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This shelf is not suitable for racks that do not conform to the standard 19-inch width or for cabinets that lack the required 550 mm mounting depth. It is also not intended for equipment that requires active cooling or specific airflow patterns that might be obstructed by a solid shelf surface.

How to use

To install the shelf, align the mounting brackets with the vertical rails of your 19-inch rack at the desired height. Ensure that the rack rails are spaced to accommodate the 550 mm depth of the shelf. Secure the shelf using appropriate rack screws and cage nuts at all four mounting points.
