The Metabo SB 18 L Cordless Impact Wrench Set is a compact 18 V tool engineered to deliver up to 60 Nm of tightening and loosening torque for fastening tasks. Supplied as a kit with two rechargeable batteries, the set provides extended runtime for repetitive jobs and offers the mobility of a battery-powered solution. The tool is built for use where mains power is unavailable and is suitable for applications in automotive maintenance, light construction work and general repair tasks.

Advantages

The brushless motor and compact design enable efficient torque delivery with reduced wear and smooth operation. Two included batteries increase continuous working time and reduce downtime for charging. The lightweight body and ergonomic grip improve handling in confined spaces and during overhead work. A variable speed trigger and forward/reverse control provide precise control for fastening and loosening different types of nuts and bolts.

Suitable for

• Automotive wheel and suspension fastenings
• Routine maintenance and repair tasks
• Light construction and assembly work
• Site work where mains power is not available
• Quick removal and installation of large fasteners

Key specifications

• Nominal voltage: 18 V
• Maximum torque: up to 60 Nm
• Power source: lithium-ion rechargeable batteries (two included)
• Drive type: impact wrench mechanism suitable for hex sockets
• Compact, ergonomic housing for improved handling
• Forward/reverse selector and variable speed trigger
• Intended for fastening and loosening nuts and bolts

How to use

Fit a compatible impact socket onto the square drive, insert a charged battery into the tool and set the rotation direction with the forward/reverse selector. Start with a low trigger pressure to engage the nut or bolt, then increase as needed to achieve full tightening or removal. For assembly tasks, use progressive torque control and check fastener tightness with a calibrated torque tool when exact torque values are required. Always follow battery charging and handling instructions provided with the batteries.

Recommendations

For prolonged use, cycle between the two included batteries so one can charge while the other powers the tool. Use impact-rated sockets and appropriate personal protective equipment. Avoid continuous high-load operation without breaks to prevent overheating.
