Why choose it

The solid zinc housing provides excellent shielding against electromagnetic interference, ensuring stable 10GBase-T links even in dense cable bundles. Gold-plated contacts resist corrosion and maintain low contact resistance over thousands of mating cycles. The integrated dust flaps keep the port clean when not in use, reducing maintenance in dusty environments.

Ideal use cases

• Office workstations requiring 10-Gigabit Ethernet
• PoE-powered devices such as IP cameras, wireless access points, and VoIP phones
• Data centres and server rooms where shielded cabling is mandatory
• Industrial control panels needing robust, vibration-resistant connections

Good to know

The socket fits standard German flush-mount boxes (UPk) and accepts cables from eight directions for flexible installation. It is compatible with all METZ CONNECT Cat.6A shielded patch panels and keystone frames. The pure white colour matches RAL 9010 and blends with most wall plates.
