Microconnect SFTP730Y cavo di rete giallo 30 m Cat7 S/FTP (S-STP)

The MicroConnect SFTP730Y is a 30 m networking cable built to Cat7 standard with S/FTP shielding and RJ-45 connectors on both ends. It provides a reliable wired connection between network devices such as switches, modems, routers or to structured cabling via patch panels, keystone jacks or wall outlets. The cable is suitable for small office, home networks and entertainment setups; it is tested to Cat7 frequencies and is compatible with Cat6a, Cat6, Cat5e and Cat5 installations.

Advantages

SFTP shielding reduces electromagnetic interference (EMI) and minimizes crosstalk, which helps maintain data integrity and stable transmission rates. The use of Cat7-rated construction supports higher frequency testing (up to 600 MHz) while RJ-45 connectors ensure backwards compatibility with lower-category equipment. The bright yellow jacket improves visibility for cable identification, and a protective snagless boot helps prevent connector damage during installation in confined spaces.

Suitable for

• High-speed wired internet connections
• Small office and home network cabling
• Connecting switches, routers, modems and patch panels
• AV and entertainment system wiring

Key specifications

• Cable standard: Cat7 (tested up to 600 MHz)
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall shield + individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45
• Length: 30 m
• Colour: Yellow
• Weight: 0.03 kg

How to use

Connect one RJ-45 end to your network device (switch, router or modem) and the other end to the target device or to a patch panel, keystone jack or wall outlet. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and sharp edges to preserve shielding and conductor integrity. The snagless boot protects the plug latch during installation in narrow spaces; ensure the latch fully engages to secure the connection.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this SFTP Cat7 cable for short- to medium-length runs up to 30 m and avoid coiling tightly. Keep the cable separated from high-voltage power lines to reduce interference and verify connector seating after installation.
