Mixer audio Behringer XENYX 1003B — 3 canali, alimentazione phantom

The Behringer XENYX 1003B is a compact analog audio mixer with three input channels and 48V phantom power designed for small studios, live setups and podcasting. It combines microphone preamplification and basic mixing controls in a space-saving chassis, allowing connection of dynamic and condenser microphones as well as line-level sources. The mixer offers straightforward gain, equalization and level control to integrate microphones, instruments and playback devices into recording rigs or PA systems.

Advantages

The mixer provides a simple, reliable solution for blending multiple audio sources with clear mic preamps and phantom power for condenser microphones. Its compact footprint and intuitive front-panel controls make setup and operation fast, while the analog signal path keeps latency negligible. The unit is compatible with common studio and live equipment, enabling easy routing to recorders, interfaces or speakers.

Suitable for

• Small home and project studios
• Podcasting setups and voice recording
• Small live performances and rehearsal spaces
• Combining microphones and line-level playback devices

Key specifications

• Channels: 3 input channels with microphone and line inputs
• Microphone preamps with gain control
• Phantom power: 48V for condenser microphones
• Equalization: basic tone controls per channel
• Outputs suitable for connection to amplifiers, recorders or interfaces
• Form factor: compact tabletop mixer

How to use

Connect microphones to the mic inputs and line sources to the line inputs, set channel gains and adjust tone controls to achieve the desired balance. Engage 48V phantom power only when using condenser microphones that require it. Use the master output to feed a recorder, audio interface or PA system, and monitor levels to avoid clipping. Make incremental adjustments while listening through monitors or headphones to ensure consistent mix levels.

Recommendations

For best results, set input gains so that signal peaks do not reach clipping, enable phantom power only when necessary, and position microphones appropriately for the source. Regularly check cable connections and monitor output levels during sessions to maintain stable and clear sound.
